We popped into shops in the town to talk about antisocial behaviour and the most recent trend of throwing eggs at people and their property. I’m pleased that local businesses are working with the Police to crack down on this by refusing to sell eggs to children.

Following an increase in vehicle thefts in the town we checked parked cars for any valuable belongings left in sight and owners of those vehicles will receive a letter of advice about how to keep property and vehicles safe.

Joint working with Durham Constabulary is essential if we want to crack down on crime in Spennymoor.

Thanks Sam, looking forward to our next day out!
